Gotham is a village in south Nottinghamshire, 6 miles north of Loughborough and 2.5 miles northwest of East Leake. It has a varied history and our route will follow part of the Gotham Heritage Trail with several information boards to read.
There is ample parking in the centre of the village between the church and the Sun Inn. Grid Ref. SK536301. Postcode NG11 0HX
John Spiers will lead a 5 mile walk following the high ground over the Gotham and West Leake Hills with good views on both sides to Nottingham, the Trent valley and north Leicestershire.
The Sun Inn will be open for an afternoon drink when we return.
